Common Questions
What's the fishing season?
Our season runs from late May through mid-October. Peak dry fly season is typically late June through September. Every month offers something different — early season runoff produces aggressive fish on streamers, midsummer brings prolific hatches, and fall delivers solitude and big browns.
How far in advance should I book?
Peak weeks (July and August) can fill 6-12 months in advance. Early and late season dates offer more flexibility. We recommend booking as early as possible to secure your preferred dates.
Do I need to be an experienced angler?
Not at all. Our guides work with anglers of every skill level — from first-time casters to seasoned veterans. We'll match you with the right guide and water for your experience level.
Can non-anglers enjoy the trip?
Absolutely. We offer non-angling adventures including horseback riding, hiking, Yellowstone National Park excursions, and more. The lodge itself — gourmet dining, fire pit evenings, mountain views — is an experience on its own.
How do I get there?
Fly into Billings Logan International Airport (BIL). We provide complimentary airport transfers. Bozeman (BZN) is also an option. Full travel details and driving directions are available on our Trip Planning page.
"From the moment we inquired to the moment we left, every detail was handled with care. The booking process was seamless, the communication was excellent, and the trip itself exceeded every expectation. Already planning our return."
